0FA Cancellation Policy for Yacht Week:

**Upon collection of your down payment, you are agreeing to the policy below:

Yacht week works based on the total paid for people attending and not for the individual account specifically. This means that any funds already paid, or not paid, affect not only the individual but the entire livelihood of the trip. The purpose of this policy is to protect the trip as a whole, per the Yacht Week policy, they reserve the right to cancel the entire booking without refund if any payments or payment deadline are not met.

Payment Schedule

  1. Down Payment - No spots will be confirmed until down payment is paid in full. Payment amount varies based on yacht size.

  2. Payment 2 - 30% is due 30 days after initial booking. This date is provided to all guests at time of booking.

  3. Balance - The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to the sailing date. Each guest's balance will be tracked, and available at all times, via the official spreadsheet document for said trip. 

  4. Misc expenses - To include, but not limited to: Kitty Fund, Port Fees, Groceries, Party Fund, Staff Tip, Security Deposit will be due no later than the week of the sailing date. This amount is provided to all guests at time of booking.

**Unless other arrangements have been made.. Failure to meet any of the above payment terms can result in individual forfeiture of spot and any funds paid to date. This can also result in permanent banishment from future 0FA trips/events and 0FA group.


Backing Out for Personal Reasons

If someone must back out of yacht week for personal reasons, the following will reflect the steps to do so:

  1. Individual must actively assist in finding a replacement for their spot for the trip.

  2. Acknowledges that we as friends understand that they had to back out but also acknowledges that we as investors in this trip are adversely affected by their cancellation financially and cannot be the only ones burdened with the additional expense.

  3. Any funds the individual has paid thus far will go toward the total of the trip, with the replacement person initially paying toward the remaining balance due.

  4. Per Yacht Week policy, the trip must be paid in full 90 days BEFORE the sail date. Per 0Ft Away policy, the replacement will have 90 days AFTER sail date to reimburse the withdrawn individual’s funds that were paid previously.

  5. In the case that a replacement cannot be found, 90% of the funds paid thus far will be forfeited by the individual and put towards the remaining balance overall, as the rest of those going will have to cover any unpaid expenses to prevent cancellation of the overall trip.

Questions/Concerns

In short, everything paid up to this point affects all involved in yacht week. We understand that things happen and plans sometimes have to change, we just ask for everyone’s patience as fees paid thus far will not be reimbursed immediately.
